Looking for a big and robust vintage clean tone for your monster pedalboard?  Perhaps you’re a pedal steel player looking for a round signal with plenty of volume and atmosphere?  This 1968 Fender Twin Reverb Combo fits the bill in a multitude of situations, and in conjunction with a single 15” JBL, has a bottom that can accommodate a variety of instruments and styles.  

Cosmetically this 1968 Twin Reverb is in very good to excellent condition thanks to the new cabinet the original circuit has been installed into.  We’re not sure the make of the cabinet, but it seems very well built and we believe was a reproduction made for a Twin (and trust us, it still has the weight we all know and love).  The tolex only shows slight signs of use and the grill cloth is great shape.  

The chassis is in very good condition (including the faceplate) and this amp sounds big and bold.  We’ve dated the amp using the transformer codes and everything looks original to 1968 with the exception of the choke.  Because of the black panel, it's possible this is a 1967 chassis with iron from 1968.  From what we can see this amp was very well taken care of and is running quite well at this present time.  The 15” JBL E130-8 sounds excellent and an excellent compliment to the Twin.
