Lefty’s, are you in need of a workhorse guitar with plenty of unparalleled tone and the heritage to match? Since 1976, the Martin HD-28 has been one of the most relied on dreadnought guitars for countless musicians across the world. With its Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, and comfortable neck shape, this Martin gives the perfect tone and playability for any play style whether it be fingerpicking, flatpicking, or strumming.
This particular 2003 HD-28 was a well-loved daily driver and has certainly benefited from having been played in over the years. At some point, it suffered a seam crack on the top from the back of the bridge towards the back end pin (see photos). This was professionally repaired and the crack has been cleated and glued. There are various scratches, dings, and dents throughout the guitar, but thankfully, they’re all superficial. The fretwire does show some pitting and will most likely require a fret dress in the near future.
