For those that love the original Velocette, here’s one with a few extra features! The Trace Elliot Velocette 12R is an EL84 driven 15 watt combo amplifier loaded with a Celestion Vintage 30. The control panel features Hi and Lo/Link inputs, Bright switch, Volume, Tone, and Reverb knobs, Reverb footswitch input, 16 Ohm EXT Speaker Output, and a Full Power/Low Power switch. It’s an amp that produces thick and full clean sounds and can start to bark when pushed enough.

This particular Velocette 12R is in very good condition for an amp from the 90’s. All the knobs function as they should without any crackling from the pots. The reverb works very well and adds a nice splash of space to your tone. The tolex is beginning to separate at its seams (see photos), but it doesn’t inhibit the functionality of the amplifier at all.
