If you're looking for big, round cleans and an thick and throaty overdrive, it's really tough to beat the iconic Fender 6G6-B Bassman. Beloved by a myriad of players (the most notable being the one and only Brian Setzer), the 6G6-B is one chameleon of an amplifier. Starting with a beautiful Fender Blonde/Brown Panel clean tone, things get spicy as you turn up the volume. It's a sound that you don't want to miss and can fit a variety of situations and genres.Â
This particular Fender 6G6-B Blonde Bassman (Chassis Stamp BP09495, Tube Chart Stamp NC - March, 1964) is in very good condition for its age and sounds every bit as it should. The amp sports its original tolex and shows various signs of wear and tear (please see our photo array for details). The grill cloth is still intact but shows wear in places. The faceplate is in very good condition as well and all the original knobs are present.  Â
The amp looks to be currently fitted with newer production Sovtek power and preamp tubes and sounds excellent here in our shop.
These amps are desirable and for good reason - they're loud, reliable, and sound damn good. We love these circuits so please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions!     Â
