In the early 2000’s, Gretsch commissioned the esteemed Victoria Amp company to produce some really slick looking (and sounding!) amplifiers with a Gretsch badge. One such model was the G6163 Executive. This amp gives off a beautiful 6V6 tone reminiscent of a Deluxe Reverb, but loaded with a 15” Eminence Legend speaker. 

This particular Executive is in very good condition and quite a looker.  The tolex shows slight signs of wear but overall is in very good shape.  The grill cloth is free of any rips or stains.  The gold trim has some slight separation at one portion on the front side of the amp.  The faceplate is great shape including the original Gretsch knobs.  

This amp sounds great and the reverb and tremolo are excellent.  The Eminence Legend 15” is also in great shape and is an awesome compliment to this circuit.

These don’t come up very often and are awesome amps on their own regardless of the collectability.  Whether you’re a huge Gretsch fan or just want a well-balanced 1x15” Combo, this amp is definitely worth a look!
