Designed by luthier extraordinaire Roger Rossmeisl and first released in 1958, the original 325 was first of the Capri series and was presented to shake up the line-up of Rickenbackers at the time. With its innovative body shape and 21" scale length, the 325 was definitely a unique instrument for the time. Two years later the guitar would be discovered by a young musician in a guitar shop in Hamburg, Germany and become of a part of the essential sound of the British invasion.   Â
This particular 1966 Capri 325S is finished in Mapleglo and is a little piece of rock n' roll history. The body shows some play wear but is in very good to excellent condition for an instrument of its age. The guitar still sports its 3 original 'toaster-top' pickups, bridge and vibrato, and Kluson Deluxe tuners. Â
The frets have some wear but there is still plenty of height and the action is medium low (more details available upon request). Everything functions as it should and the guitar is very resonant. The original case is also included in the sale of the instrument.   Â
Whether you are a player or a Beatles collector (or both), this guitar is sure to put a smile on your face. Have questions? Please don't hesitate to reach out to us, we are here to help!  Â
