If you need the vibe of a classic Fender bass but with modern features ands aesthetics to contend with today's music, the Squier Contemporary Active Jazz Bass might deserve a look. Tonally, these things are chameleons thanks to the Squier SQR ceramic humbuckers and the on-board 9v preamp. The control layout is intuitive and very useful. We get controls for Volume, Blend, Traditional Tone, and stacked Boost controls for both bass and treble. The roasted Maple neck and sculpted heel design offer a stable and comfortable playability up and down the fretboard.

This particular Jazz Bass is a serious player and in excellent shape. It only shows a few signs of playwear (please see photos for exact condition) and seems to have been seldom played. There are a few small dings on the headstock. The back of the neck is clean and plays great and all the electronics work as they should. This bass was also upgraded to include a Hipshot tuner on the low E string so we can jump to Drop D and back as quickly as the song is called! Included in the sale is a Donner branded gig bag.
