In 1967, The Vox V836 Power Booster Amplifier was introduced to the world. This power amp was meant to be used in conjunction with the Vox V119 Churchill to add an extra 120 watts of power to the PA. The actual design of the V836 is essentially a Churchill without the six channel mixer as it is housed in the same cabinet and features an impedance matching transformer.
This particular V836 is in very good cosmetic condition for a unit of its age. We do not currently have a Churchill to test it properly, but we can confirm that this unit powers on and seems to be all original in its circuitry and enclosure. This is a wonderful piece to add to a growing vintage Vox collection. Please note, this item is being sold “as-is” so please reach out to us if you have any questions at all!
